How We Got Here
Look, I'll be honest with you - this whole thing started because I got tired of seeing dealerships charge an arm and a leg for work that didn't need to be that complicated. After spending years wrenching on everything from vintage Porsches to modern Audis at various shops around Vancouver, I figured it was time to do things the right way.
We're not your typical repair shop. Yeah, we've got all the fancy diagnostic equipment and the training certs hanging on the wall, but what really matters is that we genuinely love these cars. There's something special about European vehicles - the way they're engineered, the attention to detail, even the quirks that'd drive most mechanics crazy.
Started small in a shared bay back in 2018, just me and a buddy who specialized in transmissions. Word got around that we weren't gonna charge you $200 to plug in a scanner and read a code you could've googled. People appreciated the straight talk, and honestly, that's all we've ever tried to do - treat your car like it's our own and explain things without the technical jargon that makes your eyes glaze over.
The Journey So Far
2018
Started in a single bay with basic tools and a dream. First customer was a '98 E39 BMW that three other shops couldn't figure out. We did, and that guy still brings his cars to us.
2020
Expanded to three bays and brought on two more techs who shared our philosophy. Also survived that crazy year when everyone was panicking - turned out people still needed their cars fixed, go figure.
2022
Moved to our current spot on Industrial Way. Finally got enough space for a proper lift setup and a dedicated diagnostics station. Invested in manufacturer-level equipment for Mercedes, BMW, Audi, and Porsche.
2024
Added performance tuning services after getting certified with a few major tuning houses. Turns out a lot of you want your cars running a bit more spirited than the factory intended, and we're totally here for that.
2025 & Beyond
Still growing, still learning, still fixing cars the right way. We've got plans for more equipment and maybe another bay, but we're never gonna lose sight of what got us here - treating customers like friends and cars like they deserve respect.
